Vidoe Games
A video game can be defined as a game that includes the interaction with the user interface in order to generate the visual feedback on to a video device. Platforms are termed as the electronic systems which are used to play the video games. Examples of these are video game consoles and personal computers. These platforms are generally large in range, from the level of large computers to the small handheld devices. Video games have also utilized other systems in order to provide information and interaction to the player. Some examples are sound reproduction devices such as headphones and speakers. Action video game players generally have better visumotor skills such as their sensitivity to information in peripheral vision, their resistance to distraction and their ability to count the briefly presented objects than the number of non-players. In the multimedia environment, the modern video games include a unique synthesis of 3D art, architecture, CG effects, sound effects, artificial intelligence, dramatic performances, storytelling, music, and, most importantly, interactivity. If suppose the game is highly scripted, the person who is playing the game, can still feel like an excess amount of freedom. Video games present the simulated story words in which the emergent behavior appears within the context of the games. In order to reform the U.S. education system, the learning principles that are found in the video games have been determined as the possible techniques. According to the 2008 Convention of the American Psychological Association, certain kinds of the video games can increase or improve their ability to problem-solve and the gamers’s dexterity.
